Ive got two off a c-reg mk1 edd if there the same in good condition.

i did think that there are 2 sizes on the bolt holes, mk 1 7cm, mk 2 9cm ???

havnt even tries a mk 1 in there, lol maybe i should lol

Well ive got mk1 doors on with my mk2 handles in.lol

Im sure there is definately a difference between mk1 and mk2 handles.... I have the original ones off my sr here. free if you want them Edd.

Dont think so, some sports definitely have a problem with it and they're up to C reg obviously.

On the A reg SR? Only difference I know of is the size of the handles, so if its had replacement doors then give it a go, doesn't take long to swap handles even if they don't fit

no the ones i have on my Sport are later doors, i have A reg SR doors with the original handles on.

I had a mk 2 drivers handle and that fitted.

Oh I see what you mean, I wasn't saying your sport might have the problem, no idea what car you want a mk2 door handle for :p was just saying years wise, some sports have a problem with the rarer small handles and they were up to C reg, so your A reg SR will more than likely have the early handles, sorry for the confusion :thumb:
