i have just purchased a set gaz coilovers fitted them but i have a small problem on the front if its too low the inside of the tyre wall scrubs the spring, it has speedline mistrals which i believe are 15" x 6.5 et 49 with 195/50/15 would 5mm spacers sort this out? its on a corsa b.

Has anyone else fitted gaz's and experienced this problem?

cheers,

shane

I fitted shorter springs so the collar can be wound up higher than the tyre wall and won't scrub. I hate wheels spacers.

I did the same as Lee with my AVO's.

Fitted spacers originally but they gave horrible wheel wobble at about 50mph

but a set of 6" wide wheels would be ok? where did you get the smaller springs?

Gaz or online suppliers like Merlin/RallyDesign can supply coilover springs.

I only have 6j wheels on mine.

AVO/Gaz/Rally Design/Faulkner for springs

It just highlights how close 6J wheels must be. I was wary of mine being close but the tyre wall & spring cup showed no signs of any contact.

my mini wheels were ET48 and J5.5 on 195 tyres
i could fit between the coilover and the tyre, which i dont get lol
