Outer CV joints

Anywhere know the best price for outer CV joints on the standard 22 spline shafts for when doing the XE conversion. and where to get them. as my ones are starting to click and the local motorfactors want about 80 i think it was each! :thumb: there are a number of outer joints for the nova not sure which ones either, is it just any of the 1.6 gte gsi ones i pressume

Depends if you're using big block hubs or not on an XE. Although I always thought it was the inners that were different, hence the point in using standard shafts etc, but Olly's FS thread seems to contradict that.

outers, as in the hub end are the same.... inners need swapping to cav mk2 diesel ones.

Just checked the part numbers on what Olly is selling, they are actually standard outers, for use with the cav mk2 inners/standard shafts.
