I'd rather pay 1200 for a 2.5 turbo Duratec from the ST than pay 2k for a foobared YB anyway. Cossie stuff is overpriced 'cos of the name, not like LETs were specific to one brand of car i.e one that has an 'RS' badge.

or fubar'd internals....

it makes me lol, as i watched a z20ler, just needing a loom, and a z20let with very slight fire damage make £200 on ebay. thats nothing for a turbo motor.

yup, you get a parent or guardian to be guarantor. a kid got a job with our building firm pretty much to get a months decent wage slips so his mum could then sign the loan papers for him to get a vtr...... he then left & went back to his old job paying 1/2 the wages...........and he was useless.

I dont see the need.

Buy what you can afford, hence I play with novas and motorbikes, as I save up, then pay cash:thumb:

Because most people don't want old cars, they want the newest car and want it now.

Drive down the road, you hardly see any "old" cars.

I just buy things that I can take apart & put back together & know they'll definetly work. Just so happens that limits me to GM or French motors.

The bonus of French being bits fall off them of their own accord, so thats half your job done lol
