Looking at putting some bike carbs on my 1.2 engine.

Would i need to remove my inlet? As this is where my fuel and air get mixed?

what bike carbs would i need?

I dont think i would need any sort of after market management, as mine as no ECU anyway, only they would need to be set up right re the fuel and air.

I'd have to get a bracket made & welded on to support the carbs aswell yeah?

do the gains outway the cost?

if i can get the carbs for sub £50?

i think generally you use carbs which are half the capacity of the engine ie 1.2 = 600cc but would of thought you'd gain sweet f a

Right, youll need.

Carbs

Manifold

4 rubber hose joiners

Filter king 0.5bar fuel reg

And some time on the rollers.

Bogg brothers know theyre stuff, and they said to me around £500 all in for my xe, so around the same for your 1.2

If I were you, build a 1300 on twin 40's:)

I love anything carbed.

I would personally, go grab a nice 1300sr engine, then grab some 40mm webbers, a nice regulator, and rebuild the 1300 so its all shiny new.

Then fire them on, with an alternator lowering bracket etc, and get them set up:thumb:

Pretty much what I'm doing except with a 1400 engine :)

Did want a 1.3 but the 1.4 was there and just been rebuilt
