As titled nova gsi grill badges X 1 up for grabs all still in there GM packet,, now i watched a broken one go for £33 on ebay the other night so i want £25 each

Just been told these are for a mk1 Gte Sr grill i will test one on my mk2 Gsi grill tomorrow and get back to you guys, if they fit i dont see the problem as bein tighter would make them safer also harder to steal

Here you can see both badges fitted the new ones have a slight step at the top but im happy with that
they fit and look fine all they need is abit more of a push to go on but make sure they are lined up wright and there will be no problem,

i have put afew more pics up to show how the new badges look.

Bmw156 had some brand new badges and they were the euro gsi ones for a mk1 grill and they didn't fit the mk2 gtill as the lath spacing is different, just checking they are definately for the mk2 grill?

as far as i know they are mk2 mate look the same as the one on my gsi

where did you buy them from?

if it was from euro ebay (opel classic parts) then they are wrong,

as said they fit a mk1 SR, GTE grill etc and dont fit a mk2.

check my old thread for advice.

what did you do with yours then ? are they the wrong shape these look spot on the same says in you thread they will fit so thats fine then ?

spudly said they will fit, but i tried my self. and its a very tight squeeze to start with, and i suspect you would break one if it didnt fall out first.

what part number is yours...

p.s i sold mine on ebay, saying they were for mk1's. i felt well stupid after buying them, thinking i was gonna make loads! considering the price you pay for them!

first pic you can see the kink in the S were the grill is pointed on a mk2 :)

second pic the S looks flat with no kink for the middle of the mk2 grill

so id say the first one will fit :)

New pictures added to show that these badges do fit mk2 grills with only a slight difference this bein at the top of the badge steping out abit from the grill looks fine i personaly perfer the new badges to my old one :)
