I have just converted the six small bulbs (very dimly lit) in my dash to blue LEDs (now extremely dimly lit). How do the bulbs light the dash ina Nova? The face of the dial are solid metal so no light is ever going to get through. How and I going to make my speddo back lit so the LEDs work?
Thanks for any help.

the light doesn't pass through the solid metal plates but is suposively shone round the sides of them. with the dials plugged in and not fitted to the dash turn the lights on and make sure they all work. there might be a bad contact and they are not working or the copper track broken.

There is no getting away from the fact that nova dash lighting isn't very good!!

You could get a Digi dash but i thought it seems like too much work just for better lighting unless you want one anyway for other reasons.

And then it looks SHITE with that orangy yellow glow, so you'd have to fuck about with chaging the colours of the digi-dash too.

There's some blue/green plasma dials available from auto-tint design.

Yours is a mk2 though aint it? Are they back lit diferently, just bought a digidash. Might try and make the old one work if not i'll sell the LEDs on eBay as they are all soldered in to the holders.
