cambelt covers off 1.4 NV engine will it fit a 1600 8v gsi engine ??

as titles does anyone know if the cambelt cover of the 1.4 8v engine will fit a gsi engine or are all 8v nova cambelt covers the same ?

It depends tommy as some are a rounded belt cover and some are square if its rounded and your is the same then i see no reason why it shouldnt.

Get both front and rear cover bits, any will fit then

Thanks guys mine doesnt have the outer part but its square type the one im looking to buy looks round but hes offering the front and rear cover just wasnt sure if it would cover the belt ok and if it would look ok in my bay

It will loom ok tommy as the early e16's had round covers on.
