Doesnt suprise me one bit about corsa-sport to$$ers i had a mate on that forum he was so deluded he told one of my mates his standard 1.6 16v would beat his phase 2 LET, and that was after telling me he would beat my 220bhp astra GTE with nitrous!!! needles to say i cant stand him and dont speak to him anymore! rant over! lol.

Aye it works with speed, as the air pressure increases then the car is forced to hug the ground better as it effectively weighs more.
It's more for cornering at speed than anything else. Well that's my understanding of it. I'm sure most Corsasport boys know the score though. The OP is a funny guy. lol

But then some bint went on there to have her say but by saying 'as if lowering your back seats will make THAT much difference' has just made a fool out of herself :roll: lol
downforce starts working as soon as there is a difference in pressure, and you can feel that pressure difference waving your hand through the air, the whole "it doesn't start "working" until 90mph" thing is derived from when the weight/effort invested into it is actually worth it
I worry about the state of society today. Especially youngsters on car forums.
