when idling etc the exhaust fumes are very noticable. theres no smoke etc when idling or driving, any ideas what could cause this? was thiking CTS? or maybe lambda?

nah, a car that was behind me commented aswell, could a wet fuel pump relay cause over fuelling?

also using a lot more fuel!

Mine was overfueling, changed CTS, swapped airflow meter and ecu, checked all wiring, vacumm pipes, boost pipes.

I eventually was told to try Lambda and it's been perfect since.

hmm, have a spare here, may try it. theres no way the fuel pump relay could cause it is there? was making a couple of weird noises earlier.

thanks, question, on the LET if the cars running unplugging the lambda, would it have an instand affect on the running?

Yeahit wont be relay - they either work r they dont!

The only sensors that affect fuelling are lambda, cts and afm
