Anyone know if you can put -80mm lowering springs on GMAX shortened shocks without damaging them?

think he means shocks

Probably but why bother?

60mm is well low - on the fronts especially - if you take it lower you'll get major rubbing on the fromt arches (need to roll them) and your turning circle will be shot!

As for the rears - 80mm will go on ok but you may need to tie strap them in place - probably not though.

Just watch going over bumps - they'll bottom out and it will probably wear shocks out eventually.

What wheels you running?

If not 15's (at least) upgrade to bigger wheels.

Yes I meant the shocks. Was just wondering the effects on the shock thats all as a friend who has -60mm Gmax set up is still not happy with the car sooo low... :?

Im only lowered 40mm but happy with that for now as I often have a full car & use the car daily for work etc... :D

I put -90mm springs on at one point, LOL

To say the ride was harsh is an understatement. I didn't put shortned shocks on either. Needless to say after a couple of days I swappd them back with what I originally had.
