Hey Guys, i'm planning on making a few changes to my Nova, so I thought I should start a project thread :)
Anyway, this is how i got the car:

5 inch Exhaust :tard::tard::tard:

The first thing I did was change that pile of **** exhaust for an Ashley 3" Backbox :)

After fitting it I realised it was for a Mk2, as you can see in the pic above, but instead of sending it back I just covered over the exhaust cut-out in the bumper. I then decided to spray the bumpers Rover Hurricane Grey and the side vinyl I painted using a colour I mixed myself.
I have also grinded out rust in the doors and on the arches and fillered and sprayed over them. The arches have only been rattle-canned but i'm happy with the finish :)

So here's how the car basically stands now with the exception of a few minor details that i'll put up later today:

The Alloy's that are on the car are MIM 1300's, 14" ET38 I believe, these will be up for sale soon as will the Backbox.
The plans I have for the car are:
Remove Backbox and fit standard exhaust hidden behind bumper
Silver SR Steelies
Lowered atleast 60mm all round
Laguna Splitter possibly
More Stickers :dlolI'll hopefully be able to provide regular updates but only being a part-time cleaner means 2/3's of my weekly wage goes on petrol lol
Thanks for reading :)
Looks nice and very clean. I'd say keep the wheels but fit smaller profile tyres.

Haven't updated this in a while.
Since i started this thread i changed my mind on the wheels lol
I couldn't find a set of Mk2 SR steelies close to me, but i did find a set of SR alloys. So i bought them, sprayed them and put them on:

I know the colour won't be to everyones taste but i think that once the car is lowered the wheels will suit :)
I also planning on changing the red pin-stripe round the car to yellow :)

Also, i'm on the look-out for a set of centre caps if anyone has any?

Love SR's but those SR wheels look really cr@p and spoil the look of the whole car.

Liking what you've done so far :) .. Best move ditchin that 5" exhaust tbh.. Those sr alloys are a ballsy move to make .. Some wont like them some will, its pretty much hit nd miss but fair play on makin a step in a diff direction. Have a set on my gsi project but in matt black nd skirts in matt black .. like some one said "id have gone black with painted calipers"
Thats the route im takin, as mine has a vibrant blue paint job (defo not a vaux colour, was already done) im keepin the sr alloys in black and paintin the calipers yellow (i think that will work) might paint the embossed letterin on caps yellow (try nd no like just respray)
But less of mine, fair play gonna be lookin out for of this thread, keep up the good work
