If your looking for a way to do no damage to the seats whatsoever, just pop the headrest's down inbetween the rear seat and the parcel shelf, they wont be very sturdy/strong, but look the same and can be removed with no damage left :thumb:

Heres mine slotted down inbetween:

Fixed.

And yes, I'm aware the headrests are padded foam items so quite soft, but don't forget there's two strong metal spikes sticking out of each one that would make a rather fetching pair of holes in your head!

Mine have holes in the fabric, and i belive there may already be holes in the metal frame? One of my head rest posts is cut down slighty though.
I havnt got the adjuster bits in.

Feel along the top of the chair and you'll feel wee indents as to where the headrest inserts should go

Cut a wee X at the indent and slide your headrest insert in (x4) then just push the headrest itself into the insert

5 mins work :)

You have to make small holes to fit them correctly.

If you use a screw driver to make a small hole, you can lightly stretch the hole open so it keeps everything tight.

Head restraints ;)

Maybe if more peole called them by their true name they would see the need for them to be properly secured. lol

You can only fit them properly in the 2 piece rear seats.

If you dont have one you have to make the holes yourself, i show you how in my infamous rear headrest conversion guide lol

Yes theyve already got the holes in either side, rub your finger across the top and you can feel he holes underneath the material.

Stab a hole through with a screwdriver or whatever, push the plastic clips into place, then slot your headrests in, job done.

Where do you get the clips from?
Old front seats?

Yes, the way to get them out is to put a flat screwdriver in the front side and the back side of them and push the clips in.

was a while ago when i done it so im not sure, but i think thats how you get them out.

Well no, the front seat ones are to long, you'll be cutting them up then they dont clip in.

The right ones to use are rear guides, the ones that fix correctly and clip in are from a mk2 Astra cd.
