please explain to me why the one that cosworth cast is better than the KS one?

do they both crack?

i think the cosworth one doesnt go porouse (sp) and the gm one does but then again i might be wrong

they can all go porous its just that the ks ones are more suceptble (sp) to it. nowt a sleeve wont fix tbh.

According to a local engine builder, you can flow, and port them the same.

He races a mk2 cav, with some stupid power xe in, and he is on a gm head.

exactly, i know of 2 xe'as with gm heads and 150k+ on the clocks with no issues. its the same design, just made/cast slightly differently.

now the sleeve fix is well known i would go for a gm head every time as they have considerably bigger ports as standard

But the costcast ones have more "dead" metal to port into:confused:

FFS THEY DONT GO POROUS!!!!!!! the KS ones crack, its a whole world of difference to be metal being porous!

Can't see ebay at work, but what car do you get with it for that price? lol

BTW the no ebay links rule applies to item numbers as well  I've left this one as its not the kinda thing anyone is likely to bid on. Unless they're a turkey.
