they rub on the inside arch with 195/55/15 tyres, but only when its jacked up, which its still an mot failure. what tyres should i go for? any advice from poeple with them on ur nova?!

well having 55 is incresing your outer circumference. 50's will be beter but ideally you shud have 45. also makes your speedo more accurate

Plus a 45 profile tyre is more likely to have 'squared' walls as opposed to tyre walls that bulge out and cause arch fouling problems.
If you can afford it get the Toyo Proxies T1-S - One hell of a tyre!!

yea there very good but pricey
best priced tyres iv found and use are kumho , think its elite 2 or elise 2. i pay ?40 each fitted with free balancing+tracking

I got my 195/45 15 Toyos for around ?40 each from

Even with them its close to the inner arch when the suspension is all the way down.

I have 195-45-15 Toyo Proxie tyres on the rear of the GTE, but i have some cr*ppy 195-50-15s on the front, i have no idea why the previous owner did that!

probably came with the toyo's all round and rthe bloke smoked the fronts so put shitey one (hard compund) on so they'd last longer
