checking ecu codes??????

right i have a 12v bulb

permanent 12v to one side of bulb
brown/blue to the other side
i then earthed brown/yellow

and nothing am i doing it right???

ive used search and i cannot make any sense of it:thumb:

i did that and fried my ecu for some strange reason, ran but a bag of ****,
in the end i wired up the proper ecu bulb, and earthed the wires ran fine with a new ecu lol

i have digis fitted and cannot find an ecu light on it and when fitted followed the guide which didnt mention anything about eml light:thumb:

any help much appreciated as im at my wits end with the thing

Dave on the digis the brown/blue traced wire is the ecu light.
