Hello

I know that there are a lot of topics about it here but i would like to collect some opinions. In a Nova SRi (C14SE) with KN Filter (Box), DeCat, and Supersprint Specific Back Box what are the best option (and why) for exhaust manifold:

1 - Keep Standard One

2 - Get a 4-1 System

3 - Get a 4-2-1 System

Thanks a Lot

But in 4-1 system i will loose the torque in lower revs right?

Thanks vaughanmc

Any other opinions, so i can get a more based decision?

Thanks a Lot

How many times do you need to ask the same question? Decide what you want power/torque wise. What are you aiming for overall? Pub power figures or a good driveable motor? Other modifications?

4-1 will up max power but move torque curve up the rev range which IMO will spoil a cracking little motor.

4-2 will keep the low down torque but max power will not be a great as with a 4-1. From what I remember when I had this engine that wouldn't be a major issue, it was the low down pull I enjoyed.

At the end of the day, you're not going to get a great deal out of this motor without getting some decent head work done and new cam (what you go for here will in some respects dictate the exhaust you want).
