carbs vs throttle bodies

i have been trying to decide what to do with my xe engine and just wondered what the advantages are of running either carbs or throttle bodies?

Throttle bodies if you have the money.

Carbs cheaper, probably end up with similar power outputs but throttle bodies are nicer to drive due to them being mapped.

I've ran both on my XE & find throttle bodies a nicer all round package.
