help with engine change

Hi all,

i've just bought a 1.0litre nova but the engine has blown up, i have a replacement 1400 engine but what else do i need?

i have the complete carb engine and box and the coil and amplifer and wiring but what else do i need?

shafts are differnt iirc

you also need the driver side front mount

Shafts are the same for small blocks apart from gte/gsi.

You need the driver engine mount bracket from a 1.2-1.6 nova though as the 1lts different.

Also for future ref you have to run another ign live to the coil as you carnt run the standard 1ltr one.

i think you will need a return fuel line with a new tank aswell mate...not sure tho....but i replaced these as mine was injection and needed the return line and new tank..:)...and mine started as a 1.0 carb
