Got a cheapo Aldi 50L air compressor when they had them. It came with a length of hose and quick connection fittings that are the 'stubby type' (a German/european standard? Forgotten what its called)

Just bought a Schutz gun which wants me to use a leader/whip hose to reduce vibration and a water separator/filter. All the hoses and quick connection fittings I can find (MachineMart etc) seem to be a longer style coupling (UK standard?) so won't fit to my current air line.

Anyone know if you can get quick connector converts for this? Or just recommend that I move everything over to the UK standard couplings?

Searched on the net for info on the different couplings and struggling to find anything,

They only sell the whip hose with the 'UK standard' fitting like this:

All my quick connection fittings look like this:

Means replacing all connections on my tools and new hose - wondering if there's any other way.

Andy I was chatting to the guy at MachineMart but don't think they have adapters.

just replace the fittings with proper ones. they are cheap as feck 5 for £3.45 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-X-1-4-AIR-LINE-MALE-FITTINGS-car-boat-REPAIRS-BSP-/260618899891?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Air_Tools_and_Compressors&hash=item3cae18d1b3)
