I can only assume that England aren't fussed about getting anywhere in the world cup, they aren't showing any passion at all, same with the USA game.

True, although you would think that playing for your country would make you want to put in a bit of effort. This world cup has been pretty poor so far overall though.

I think they get a "bit" of cash for playing for they're countries. You shouldn't need an incentive to play for your country but then professional footballers want to be paid to take a piss

TBH I've never understood why England are rated so highly in the world rankings, as our international side is totally useless. I've seen matlows in the gym playing better football!
Lets face it, Slovenia will run rings round us and USA will hoon Algeria. England will be sent packing.
On a lighter note, Uruguay are top of their group, so its looking good for my sweepstake at work lol

I seem to have become a slight mystic Nathan over this.
I said to workmates earliers on today that England would just scrape a draw (which lets face it they did!) however I also said earlier on this week I did say that they would also go out in the group stages.
Erm................ I think that im going to go to the betting shop & lay a large wager on that one

thats my point aswell, surely there isnt any respect for someone that you can hardly understand, and why have a foreign manager anyway? imo and english team should be run by an english person. they just dont seem have there heart in it.

That would require them to beat Slovenia though, which is pretty unlikely to happen!

im not watching anouther game, cant stand watching them play this bad :mad: anyone who thinks we have a sniff at lifting the trophy is sniffing something lol and so much money will be wasted on bets, if it was 10000000 to 1 that england will triumph, i wouldnt put 50p on haha we will be comeing home soon as always :roll: Fabio needs to take there straight jackets off!!!!

They can still top the group, i don't see the problem with them drawing. Yes they played awful but that doesnt give the fans or media any right to boo them and say they don't deserve to be there. If they lose the last game then that's when they don't deserve it and they will go home, but even then they should never be boo'd. Club fans do it all the time and i think it's out of order, no matter how bad your team plays you need and should stick with them.
England on paper to me doesnt have that many world class players, they arnt as good as people make them out to be. To me England should be happy to get to the quarters and anything better than that they are doing well.
I am confident that if we win the next game and get through and actually play knockout games against decent teams (ie, Germany) we will play much better and i wouldnt be surprised if we beat them or any other team.
The manager for me isnt picking the correct squad, Lampard for one shouldnt of be there like i have always said. Rooney should play up front on his own and have 5 midfielders, one being Gerrard who can play further forward at times. However, just because he doesnt pick the correct team doesnt mean we have any rights to slate the decisions.
England should beat Slovenia and get through, i think they will but if they dont it wouldnt bother me. At least then all the wannabe supporters around the country can shut the fcuk up about the world cup and leave the real fans to enjoy the rest of the tournament without having England all over the papers and in pre match interviews.
PS. people on this forum havnt been that harsh, my anger is towards the rest of the forums and media and whatever else.
And also, well done for Rooney for telling the fans how he feels after the match. About time they get supporters rather than haters.
