Over the weekend me and my mates knocked up a nova pickup :)
built in 48hrs working shifts 4 peeps at a time

that is crazy!! when are you going to build a nova with the shell on back to front, so that it looks like it is reversing when it is going forward, now that would be freaky!!

thats some work! non stop 48 hours working shifts eh? That would have taken me about 2 years!! :lol: Its different.! needs Big wheels now! :twisted:

lol it took us 48 hours with help from loads of ppl and yes the colour is hammerite black/grey with a slight sparkle if its in the sun :twisted:
sweet! like that! shame there aint more pix of the back though. is it actuly road worthy?? as youv taken a very stuctural part out :? lol

no probs with the strength... i drove it with the back cut off and there is no flex... remeber the rear spring mounts are only 10" behind the astra boot lid and that is where the weight pushes up.. in the rear there is 3mm steel plate welded to the boot lid and the the side panels and full floor up to the front seats and all thats welded together

Looks a lot better than I would have expected. Like how you did it - good idea alround. All you need now is a fook off chrome rollover bar :lol: ....
oh yeah and some foxy chicks wearing next to nowt perching on the tail gate just to finish off the beach party feel :D

are the two spare wheels taht are in the back to hold the bootlid down or add weight so its not too silly to drive? lol
jsut add toyota running gear, and youve got a nova hilux (lux used loosely) ;)

what size are the momo alloys on that silver nova and how much is that thing lowered? like the pick up a lot,dont see too many of them.
I like that-thats ace that is. would be pretty good all painted up and finnished
