Not heard of these before...

Timed run around a coned course, like at TOTB, practice in the morn then 5 timed runs each in afternoon, then the fastest 2 cars in each class go head to head for a trophy...

may give it ago... depending what the classes are....

£45 + £10 to get in, next event is this Sun 20th, gonna have a drive up if weathers good, see what its all about.

I thought it was quite reasonable, plenty of track time for ya money...

It was £50 plus a tenner to go drag racing there before they binned it off..

Judging by the title I thought this was some thread about a drum n bass rave. I was expecting to see a lineup including Andy C, Friction and Mampi Swift.

I'll get my coat....

An open pit lane track day there is only £110 with a free extra driver!(so £50 for possibly 5 runs seems pretty poor value to me)
i dont really think it will take off and it is also VERY harsh on your tyres with it being concrete!I scrubbed off a pair of brand new toyo's last time i was there.

Its not £50 for 5 runs.... Its £45 for unlimited track time.... until the qualifing starts in the afternoon, then best of your 5 laps to get your postition in class, then if your top 2, you go head to head.

It might seem pricey, for driving around cones, but event insurance, marshalling & land hire etc all adds up. You cant do anything fun for minimal cash these days.

Exactly what I thought! - plus on trackdays I've done, I only got 2 or 3 20-30 min sessions through the full day...
