Vectra if you like headroom and being able to see over the wheel!!!
I've found that anything smaller than and A6 has the roof curve in too sharply so your head touches the roof unless dropped so far you cant see over the wheel lol
plusthe A4 will be bland as you like to drive.

Theyre fukkin dog muck, and the drift show at pvs proved that. The senator went sideways so much better. The omegas looked like they were being driven by 15yr old TWOC'ers
Omega's are comfort cars not drift cars, Senators are cool though.
baxter, what bout a carlton gsi 24v?

so because a car lost traction at a much lower speeds on some 60 year old tarmac, it is better?????? drifting is not like the real world, Andy

Audi A6 2.5 TDi Quatro
Mileage isn't a worry as its a Diesel, they will run till the end of the world. I drove one about a couple years ago now, EPIC comfort, Proper auto (none of this DSG or tiptronic nonsence!) MASSIVE cabin & boot (avant!) handles nice, has 270 odd hp and a mountain of torque, so shifts a goodun! Usually come with audi symphony stereos, which have CD changer built in, Get a good SE spec one and you have most of the toys you would ever want.
This ticks all the boxes as far as I can see, comfortable, spec'd up, V6 & a turbo, also has a good fuel economy, sounds good, powerful, torquey etc etc

Meh, I think that they are 255hp std but can be re-mapped to 270 odd hp and have an absolute mountain of toque....
Or you can buy me Escort.

Are those Audi v6 diesels not 168 bhp or so? That a4 on the first page would be my choice for in and around a grand just because of the seats as they are the dogs balls. Can't see anymore than 4 people being able to squeeze in though. Should be able to get a nice seven series BMW for that price , huge boot, comfy inside, and a good chance of getting a good one.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-BMW-728I-AUTO-BLUE-/320549618037?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4aa23f0175#ht_878wt_920
Nice alternative to an omega I think
novaguy08
17-06-10, 09:43 PM
You say 7 series, there is one for sale near me for 500 quid lol
the A6 will have the same seats if you pick up a good one!
I think that the old 2.5 tdi's had 168hp, ill check though as the 52 plate one I was in Glass's said it had 255......
EDIT: Glass's was wrong. Baxter is correct...
If you think about it 168hp from 2.5 V6 is pretty pathetic, considering that they have currently got 170hp out of their 2.0 TDi engines!

Old derves dont do power well... new dervs do.. magic of technology
I thought the MV6 was supposed to be a GLS spec with 3.0 engine and manual box.... not essentially an Elite like that one is baxter

the omega looks good
or you could try a volvo 859 T5
if you get the omega, drug dealer tints and a 40mm drop are essential.
or unplug the air adjusters
