well after a run to P.V my nova seems to want to play up and is making a loud buzzin sound from the fuel pump so me thinks its time for a new...does this mean it is ****ed? and also anyone know of any were to get them cheap as they look like there a bit costly:thumb:

have you had a look at it wayne? is it still mounted ok ? if so yeah it sounds like it might be knackered pal.

Try a wanted add mate should get one cheaper that way pal

Mine was buzzing rather loudly when it died.

Bought another from ebay - £30 iirc. That was for an external MPi pump to suit an XE. In fact its still on there now serving my 3.0 without a hitch.

As long as its still pumping its fine,but have one ready for when it sh1ts its pants

its still mounted ok paul yea... might after ask on here then as may be cheaper... sounds really loud in car did have a lil stutter as well:cry: :cry:

I'd change it as a matter of priority then, if its not pumping enough fuel you'll run lean and thats bad

Stupid question, but you aint low on fuel are you??? no over half a tank init.and yes jack it did miss a little so must be ****ed.what else would fit it like maybe a cav one or something?
