Is it a ******* to keep clean though? I image once dust, hair etc has been on it for a few days it'd be a pain to clean.

There's a joke in there somewhere.
there is a place in wrexham that do it http://www.autoflock.co.uk/
you can also buy the kits to do it yourself from frost, i have just bought one to do the centre console on my mk4 van, i will get pics up later, not really sure if they are suitable for full dash tho
I'm very very close to investing in the kit to do this - so it's good to hear that there is some interest around it! Would anyone be interested in having bits done?
the kit you buy yourself is rubbish. it doesn't make the flock stand on its edge.
you need this high voltage kit, it makes the flock all static, then you need the glue, two parts to it plus the pigmentation to go into the glue. Glue alone is around £90 then the flock ontop. this doesn't even take into account the preperation too. the glue goes off in 45 mins and you have to get the glue warm but not too warm to get the lumps out of it.
as you can tell i have done this. work in a garage where we do it.

Depending on price, once my track car was built I definitely would, I reckon if you could offer a price other places cant with your lack of overheads etc you could do well.
glad to hear it prey.
if you want some tips pm me.
as long as you aint too close to the north west where we are based lol.
theres an art to it.

definately interested in any tips you have :thumb:
looks quite specific regarding the atmosphere and application - ive done a fair bit of reading around and prepared to spend the time practicing to get it right etc - i dont mind sinking some cash in if i can see it paying for itself.
no where near the nw mate! pretty much in the middle!

So, what about keeping it clean?
use a paint brush and hoover up the dust as you flick it off.
do not use any form of cleaner as this can stain the flocking ~(wet marks)
