just changed the wings,grille,lights on my mk1 to mk2 bits, and need no how do i get the grille to fit properly

it dont have no where to clip the thing into so, do i have to change the thing where the bonnet close on to a mk2 one .

some slam panels dont - remember DEES NOVA had this prob on his. You may need to cut small holes in the current slam panel and use a file to make square ones. Watch yer radiator though. You could use cable ties - cant be seen unless you open the bonnet but if done discreetly will be ok.
