Sorry - no such thing as a cheap alloy fuel tank

U can buy 'off the shelf' tanks which r usually rectangular but restrict the position they can be mounted in a Nova

In terms of fuel line in the car - again this can result in a hefty bill if using aeroquip hose and JIC-6/JIC-10 anodised ends

I dont want 2 b seen as putting u off the idea - But just making u aware that what initially sets out as a good - must have - mod, can turn out a very expensive mod - As Brett found out !!

but arent fuel tanks fitted in the wheel well of stock cars without fire walls? i used to be part of the mehanics team for a stock car group a long time ago (i was friends with the son), i didnt know much, i just watched and learnt really, i did the usual stuff like changing wheels, filling the tank and hanging the exhaust back on with chicken fencing wire! lol and actually building the cars!

is it possible (or worth it) putting in a 1.6 GTE/GSi tank, pump and lines into a 1.2i?
