Right then,

About three weeks ago i Brought my first nova...

cost me £150 71k 6month Tax 6 month test.
i have always loved vauxhalls, but only ever had a corsa before now.

i was not sure to buy her at 1st was looking a little rough at the time not been cleaned for years, the lady i brought it off she had it off a relative in stoke, an thats the only 2 owners its ever had..it has got every tax disk an every MOT!!

anyways this is what it looked like on the day i got it,

my mate who was looking at it with me put his finger through the wing i could not belive it...we all not rust is not solid!

so i started looking round abit closer there is not alot of rot under the car! i was shocked so the only rust was on the front two wings!

so i called a mate he got me two new wings for £10 each plus my old ones! well happy so i then started making a few tweeks myslef getting it how i want it, i am shocked how it looks.


so 3 weeks later this is last night !

So the new wings are not a great colour match but the guy who did it is a close mate has said he will so the whole car for me!

What do you lot think? i think it might be too low..

remeber this is only 3 weeks in haha

i also need saloon front wings but the ones i put on are ok for now i think.

What should i do with the car?!

Looks half decent mate - You could be right about it being a wee bit too low

Other than that it looks good - Do what you want with it fella, whether it be engine mods or an interior change :)

would lova a new engine...but i do not know what to go for..

on the flip side its doing really good mpg an it seems silly to chnge that at the moment

i would like to get the whole car re-sprayed one rear arch need looking at but it not bad yet...

i really do not know what to do...

fit some shorter shocks that should help im gessing you have only changed the springs..

i have got some shocks at home. well rear shocks i better get them on asap... was putting it off for nice weather!

i understand i have done wrong, i have put my hands up an said i should't have done it. i do not want to be portrayed as the sort of person i am not an i have set about doing this in the wrong manor.

the saloon looking good m8, i recon it would benafit a different engine though as yours isnt sounding 2 healthy but otherwise it seems to be goin well.
keep up the good work!

Sunny Ellesmere! haha prob won't know that area but its near oswestry not too far from shrewsbury if that helps mate!

ohh tidy i just seen your not too far away either! the roads are not the best a live in a tiny village just outside they are very bad there! lanes, mud, potholes!

have to meet up sometime mate i really like your car!

Theres been loads of crashes on the Ellesmere roads there abit miss leading some parts are really good then the bad bends and humps in the road just spring up on you i think half the trees along there have been taken out lol

helps me as i have grown up around here! been 3 crashes between oz an elles this week mate!

What you doing in the way of exhaust for your saloon mate i really do not know what to do! my standard one died an i had to put a standard hatch bbox on for now ?

i dout anyone makes exhaust's for saloons!

You have to extent the pipe from the backbox. I have a magnex to go on but as yet haven't extended it.

Little up date got an exhaust...very cheap abit tackey but it means i can get rid of the hatchback one!

get it fitted asap an pics up!
