Right as im not really sure what has caused this im not sure what to say so i will talk you through what i have done.

Right i took my clocks out as my speedo cable snapped on the way home from the Pod.

Then i un did the bolt at the gearbox. i slightly earthed the rachet out on the starter motor.

Now with it all back together the clocks dont work unless i rev the car and my ignition lights dont come on with the ignition :(

Anyone have any ideas? ive tryed 3 sets of clocks and they all did the same. ive replaced all the bulbs

thats why you take your earth terminal off the battery when you work on cars.

sorry mate. checked any fuses?

you've blown something on the circuit on the back of the clocks, i think you shorted the starter out up the speedo cable.. just have a good look for something blackened

if the dash bulbs are ok, have a good look at the gearbox to chassis earth & the alternator.
