just changed the heater matrix and now the fan wont work every time i put it on it blows the fuse any ideas

have you got the polaritys crossed? ie. live-earth, earth-live. check all the connections & make sure it aint arkin on anythin

have you left any tools anywhere near the terminals shorting them out?
