hi, as anybody lowered the rear of a combo,is there anything extra/different needed,im assuming you flip the axle but would like any info before i begin cheers dale.
Lowering Blocks, Usually From A Mk2 Escort Iirc.

the axle sits under the springs at the minute, i need to take it above,its this im concerned of/after advice cheers
Yeah, you undo it, and mount it above the springs, but also using blocks will lower more.
by the looks of things mate you are goin to need to take the axle off drop the springs.
weld a new spring perch to the bottom of the axle as aposed the top how yours should be atm.
slide your axle over your springs and bolt back togeather i think it is a trial and error type of
thing but looking at pics of spring over axle witch you have there is a perch that the spring
locates on so you need it movgin as said
then if said does not lower it enough i think it will be around 60/70mm down at this point maybe a bit less
you will need blocks and extended u bolts mate
