C16SE wiring problem

Dear all,

I'm writing from Italy, from here I follow all your topics with great interest!

I have an Opel Corsa GSI 8v... Vauxhall Nova 1.6 8v (C16SE)

I have a problem with the temperature gauge in the dashboard: when I switch on the battery it goes immediately to the max (red position).

Somebody can help me?

I can't find where to connect this plug... Is it correlated to the temperature gauge?

I know that for the engine temp the ECU use another sensor placed on the right side of the Head. Where is the sensr for the dashboard?

francesco, you have found the problem. the wire in the image foto0110v needs to be connected to the temp sensor in image foto0112t. it might be a bit loose, so you might need to squeeze it a bit to help make a tight connection.
