View Full Version : rear turrets - possible fitting available

Due to a change of spec my turrets are up for sale

I built them to house gaz coilovers, but now i've decided to go for gaz golds they arent quite big enough.

I made them so that a rear strut brace / harness bar could be bolted between the rear - hence the extra 40mm above the mounting surface, but this can easily be trimmed down should you be after a more factory look

They are already roughly trimmed so once welded in they will just need a little grinding down.

will also come with bracket to weld to rear beam

50 quid plus postage - can bring to pv

if you bring your car to me I am prepared to fit them to your car for 250 - that price includes welding them in, seam sealering, priming the insides, undersealing the outside and reinforcing the ream beam mount. - I WILL NOT PAINT THE INSIDES (other than primer)

What is the inside width?
( I have billstein coilovers, I'd need to measure them too)

the ones above are 100mm wide

I have gaz golds accomodated inside 100mm turrets,

but with these i mounted the top mount too close to the inside edge of the turret, as they were built for 1.9" ID rear springs,

if your coilovers are 1.9" id these will be fine.

by moving the beam mount forward slightly (as above) it means the shock now moves in more of a vertical plane and hence gives more clearance,

i can make turrets to any dimension you require
