Ok so I thought I fixed the fuel leak round the sender, using some natty sealant (which said it was Ok to use with petrol).

Filled up last night, moved the car today to note about 10% down on fuel and see it dripping out round the sender even more than it was to begin with lol

Is there any quick fix I can do, any known good sealant stuff I can whack round the sender? I can't take the sender out again as I've got a full (near enough lol) tank with nothing to siphon it into. And I can't afford to ditch the fuel and refill again.

Welder FTMFW in any situation but this:(

Erm, bathroom silicone sealant?

Ducktape? Stupid as it sounds, it shouldnt be affected by petrol?

I did consider duct tape, as I use it to repair every thing lol

Just thought the petrol would burn through it. Baxter, whats the JML putty you speak of?

[edit] just googled it. Hmm, got me thinking, I might have some spare old chemical metal around somewhere. Could try some of that lol
