F20 gear box diff issues

Morning all,

I have a sound (like a bag of nails) moveing around in the diff housing, i dont have another f20 sat arround is there any other diff's that fit in its place? as were only a day away from pvs i would like the car on the road to go :)

any help on this would be appreicated (poss wrong spelling lol )

just slap the other box in, you would have to drop the box out & strip it to do a diff.......... but it could be a wheel bearing.

jack one side up & run it carefully in gear, then do the other side. if it sounds crap one side & not the other, its a bearing.
