Document refrence number 12 digits

Hi all,
just purchased a nova with no tax and want to drive it to pvs
its insured and has 12 months mot
tried online and it says enter the document refrence number on the v5
i have done that but it misses a digit off.
on the website its says its 11 digits, mine is 12

ive tried missing numbers out but has onyone any ideas ?

Haven't you gotta use the refferance off the reminder form they send you when your tax/sorn runs out?

you can use either, i dont have that as i have just bought it and was sorned in 08.

you can use the document refrence number and the registration number

You have to remove the 1st number.

When did you buy it? Has the new log book came through yet?

Hmmm, thinking back to when I did mine and I'm pretty sure your right. IIRC it wasn't very clear on the V5.
