Dont expect ANY improvement by fitting gte brakes, they are the same diameter just vented, the only difference is they wont over heat as quickly, waste of time and money!!
For the same money you wanna get some astra mk2 16v calipers and discs, theese have bigger discs and also bigger pistons in the calipers, you will get a BIG improvement fitting theese brakes, theese brakes are also fitted to most 2ltr cavs too.
You want the 256mm x 24mm discs with 52mm piston ATE calipers.
Nova gte ones are 236mm x 20mm discs with the old shitty calipers that seize up at the drop of a hat!!

does anyone know all the details of calipers, such as what are on 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.6/1.8/2.0 8v/2.0 16v and V6?

so we are to understand that 1.6 calipers are 1.4 calipers, just vented, and V6 are 16v ATE's, just a few mm's bigger?

what about 2.0 8v calipers, are they worth whacking on a 1.2?
