28kgs+ of weld in roll cage for a road legal drag/test car, or not?

It'll be practically dead weight, but then add's resale value to the shell.

you only weigh about that wet thru Mike so combine you and it in the car and you'll still have less than the weight of an average person lol lol

Id say yes, adds resale value and strength, not forgetting the safety aspect of it. One of my mates is building a mk2 astra and has ditched his old cage in favor for a weld in cage with a plan to get the shell to a true rally shell status with rac log book etc. Says if he is going to waste money building it he may as well add something to it that will add value at the same time
