just a few things i have to do before pv
two cv boots
full valet
oil + filter (just done this tonite)
fit cesaros
get alarm fitted(tommorow morning)
go rape a nova in scrap yard for any good bits
sort out my camping crap
get food and BEERWhats any one else gota do?

well if i had money and time lol i would have both arches and sills replaced, Respray, Turbo V8 lump lol and rear wheel drive.
But knowing me ill wake up rush around and drive up and forget most of what i need to take lol

reduced emmisions from 11.5 to 3.5.. then re-mot
possibly change every nut and some bolts on the gear linkage
and set it up so 5th gear is findable
re-setup suspension
clean and detail

Been doing my check list for stuff none car related today...
E.G:- Food, beer, camping stuff etc...
Going to check the fluids on the car thursday night :)
Throw double matress into back of van.

and a ciggie lighter pump lol

Lol... they are top!
Got mine as a package with a double sleeping bag and pillows from Go Outdoors in stockport.
They are only around about 10 - 15 cm thick but do the job :)

yeah lol mine and his gfs will be there aswell lol
Did most of mine this mornin , 2 outer cv boots & a new inner cv and passed mot :)
It's clean now , but I'll prob clean it again Friday and then when I get there sun mornin lol

Get the loon home will exhaust finished!
Oil and Filter.
Plugs.
Fit new speedo cable.
Fit temp sender.
Try and get EML light off!
Full valet.
Fit new seats!
Lower front end a touch.
and breathe out....

Re Underseal the inner arches where over spray has got in.
Fix grill back together and fit
Clean side skirts
Clean windows and rubbers
Clean tyres and wheels
T-Cut
Wax
And another Wax
Wax seats
Clean headlineing
Clean carpet
Dash Dandy the dash and plastic bits
Adjust gear linkage
Tidy up Paint on the B-Pillars
Put up tent!!!Think thats it ..

Nope,theres alot to be said for a nice bed to break the mrs back,a hot shower in the morning and a toilet that doesnt resemble the one off trainspotting

Wash, polish n hover. Weather pending!
Wake up Saturday, chuck my trusty Bivvy n fishing bedchair in the boot. Take the baby seat out. As I'm driving a trusty golf this year, That's about it!! Lol
Leave the house late, meaning I'm in a rush as I'm meeting up with another 20+ cars 15 miles away on the a50. Pick my mate up from around the corner who will be more than likely still drunk from the night before and instantly fall asleep as soon as he gets in the car.
Drive 5 miles in the opposite way to pick 2 more people up. then On to the a34, a500, n onto the a50 to meet at mere park. Down to mcdonalds for breakfast and then have a nice steady drive down.
Didn't go last year so looking forward to this year.
WEATHER permitting!

I ended up binning the tent, it stunk when I got it out the other week :roll: lol.

Fit doors,
Fit glass,
Flat and polish doors,
Wash clay and dry car,
Clean insides,
Fit dash switches,
Glaze car,
first stage of wax,
Clean engine bay,
Check oil, water and tyre pressures,
Second stage of wax,
Fit few bits of re trimmed panels,
Final stage of wax.
Fill cool box with frozen drinks,
Drive to Hotel on Sat.
Drive to Pod at 7ish feel awake.
i was guna do abit paint wheels bla bla but its wash and polish and check oil water etc etc

bolt up exhaust, finish interior trim, fit 2.0 brakes, fit 14's, fit linkage, polish, and a general tidy up. i have 3 nights to do it. oh and get the fukker running right......
Check the new bits are all on good, see if I can find some black mesh locally that isn't crazy halfrauds prices. Oh and buy food/beer etc. Packing minimal stuff for PV
jack try your local pet supplies for the mesh
Already have, they only supply wide chicken mesh or halfrauds type mesh, I want something fairly fine. The stuff I have is quite fine, about 5x3mm diamond, but its silver and if I painted it no doubt the paint would just flake off as its so close to the radiator
bbq paint, its heat proof mate, b+q £5 per tin.
The Estate
fit front brakes then bleed the whole system
paint the front wings
refit the lights and bumper
paint the roof and quarters
give it a facking good clean inside and out
The Saloon
fit the boot floor
make seat mounts
fit gear linkage
fit hand brake and cable
make steering column mount
fit dash panel
fit front wings
fit bonnet
fit bumper
build up the doors
finish the wiring
finish the brake lines
fit front brakes
bleed the brakes
fit rear springs and shocks
underseal boot floor
paint sills
then a facking good clean i think
theres probably more
me
check and load camping kit
clean cooker and load it
pack clothes and find wellies
go shopping
errrrr
