Need to paint my xe engine bay on a budget, but do i go for oe colour? black? or something different ala sloth?

Grey metalic for ease, looks better than black and the touring cars etc are done like that, and now you have a 4dr saloon you need to be in keeping with the 4dr racers lol
Black, so when oil sprays out of the breather you cant see it lol

I agree. Gunmetal like the works touring cars use. What I'll be doing on my next shell.

what colour is youre car?
It's light metallic blue, thinking of going with a matt lilac colour.
id go white, easier to see and stress fractures or leaks etc

but is you have the sensible head on then metalic grey.

i opted for a healthy coating of black underseal slopped all over my bay. well you said you were on a budget...
paint it same colour as the car!
