Ok my swap is 99% done starts and drives fine, only issue is temp gauge not working and ECU light on, so I flashed the codes and I'm getting

12
15
02

Reading the topbuzz site indicates my engine flashes 2 digit codes, as its GM-Multec.... 12 to start the sequence 15 is coolant temp voltage too high (which ties in with my temp gauge not working) but it flashes ten times and then twice... 02 which isnt listed as a fault code...

So I'm wondering if its flashing 4 digit codes (P codes)...1502 which is 'immobiliser control unit'...

Anyone any ideas?

check the ecu mate, it will tell you its type. i.e multec 55, or 56 or 56.6

Sounds like you either have a dodgey connection on the immobiliser control unit or the unit itself is on the blink, although the car shouldnt run if that was the case lol. EDIT Try clearing the codes and see if the immobiliser one comes back, it may not and may just be stored after a failed start? more than likely the coolant temp code is causing the light to stay on.

Single pin for gauge, already changed 2 pin one for ECU as I snapped it when fitting the engine! Lol.
