Just put an E16SE into my Corsa, Everythings good but im getting smoke coming out of the breather on my rocker cover when its trying to start. it really chugs out! any ideas? Injectors? or piston rings? anything? cheers again!

Everythings good but... lol

could be piston rings, valve stem seals or just too much oil in

My e16Se doesn't have a breather on the rocker cover.

Well chaps. Thanks for the suggestions but after takin of the head and sump we found 3!!! Of the pistons are cracked. I would post picks but I can't yet.

The bloke who had it before me had the courtenay turbo on it. They cracked so perfectly that it didn't mark the bores and the top of the pistons looked like new. That's why I didn't check previously. It's actually obscene the state of them. I'll try and get pics up later.

We had a 1980 DR400 that did that, it ran badly, smoked etc,.. but did strike up easy enough... when I took the head and barrel off I couldnt believe it lol

The top half of the piston completly came off! :P
