just put my nova in high build primer whats the best grade of paper to use when flatting it. wet or dry. got told 500 grit followed by 800 is this ok? thanks :thumb:
I used 800 grit wet&dry. worked for me :)
I used 800 on my bootlid on the primer, then 800 and 1200 on the top coat. Keep wetting the paper though, plenty of water is the key

Bodyshop where I took my car to get done (pics in my project thread in my sig) used 600grit wet n dry. I've normally used 600-800 grit. Like Jack said, loadsa warm soapy water to get best results.
800 on a block. You don't want finger marks on it from rubbing it down with your hands.

You know the higher the number the finer the grit yeah?
600 will be ok, but 800 is a lil better.
