My new one! MK1 1300 SR!

This is another one i have recently purchased..

Spec -

1300 SR, Re-painted in flame red, NEW speedline Allesio II's, New Toyo Proxies, KONI adjustable Shocks with 40mm lowering springs, Full Stainless Steel exhaust system, 2.0 16v GTE calipers with vented and grooved discs, Green Stuff Comp Pads, Standard Interior, Standard SR bodywork, Standard Engine.

The shell is clean for being 22 years old, the bottom or doors and sills are starting to show some signs of rust, but still all original panels even though it has just been painted recently. Interior is immaculate (note no bolster wear)!

yes this was on pistonheads for £1700..

my plans are to keep it tidy, wouldnt mind sorting the small bits of rust out, i like things to be perfect and this one has potential.

i would probably fix the arches, fix sills and replace the passenger side door or even just get rid of the small bubbles. it is not rotten, just starting to bubble the paint. you can hardly notice it though.

i am after some bump strips and vinyl if anyone has any..

good god I love love love red SRs! had a valver a while back, is thast from piston heads resprayed flame red?? looking VERY nice indeed :) just what the dr ordered.

well the engine decided to bite the dust lat night..

I bought Dan's old 1650cc Track Engine for this..Got myself an F15 gearbox to cope with the power too.

Just need a few bits and bobs and we will be ready to convert engines.

I need a 1400 SR dizzy, coil and wiring if anybody can help..????

Very nice! There's a couple of little things I'd change if it was my own, but it looks great. I'm being converted more and more from mk2's everytime I see a mk1, I never thought I would. Lol
