We started with a sun roof! Now there aint one! We made the boot flat aswell rather than having the wheel well. Should be ready for paint next week when all the final works been done.

nice one, out of curiousity whats that frame for?? (from top of dash down to near gear lever)

AS said the shell was far from good to start with, still needs work! Well i wont be running a dash at all in it so i made that frame out of tiny box section which weighs nothing and iv folded sheet over it so I can mount things onto it...gauges/fuesbox/ecu/switchs and before anyone asks there is space for my hand between the gearstick and the frame in every gear!

thought so, you using ally sheet or plastic?? really looking forward to a WIP as i love builds biased towards track or motorsport use

The sheet is actually part of the door skin from a sII landrover, only using it because it really doesnt weigh much!! The frame and sheet can be picked up with your little finger! Yeh il get a wip going when I have more time and money. It will be one of the slower builds but it should be done this time next year!

dont worry about how long it takes, take your time and dont cut corners. I kept setting myself deadlines to finish mine but in the end i just decided it would be ready when it was ready. Plus problems will crop up and there is always more to do than you think. Ideally i would love to start my build again with a proper plan as i ended up fitting stuff then having to take it back out etc. Good luck :thumb:
