hey guys,

been busy today, rubbed down & painted my wings, As most know I had a small bump back in oct & have been running round with silver wings.

as it was nice weather & ideal for spraying I popped down to halfords for some spray paint.

Rubbed the wings down with 800grit, Filler primer, rubbed down again, 3x Top coats, Rubbed down with 1200 grit followed by 1500 grit. then polished with super resin polish.

Not bad for a rattle can job pretty please with the out come & only cost me a grand total of £38.25 for both wings :)

my bad wrong section should be in styling :p

I popped down to halfords for some spray paint.
Pity, they'll still not be the same colour as the car then. :(

Very nice, impressed you could polish it back up with super resin, as that's not a proper compound. I'd get some wax on it now.

SRP is a rather course polish, so it's does have a cutting compound in it. That's why it's good on solid paint colours. :thumb:

Polish and cutting compound are to very very different things, polish and a tiny tiny tiny amount in it. Its only ment to remove light marks from daily use and washing.

I know Benn, but I use SRP as a light cutting compound (when machine polishing) as it's that course.
