We have sourced a very tidy cheap rot free car that we will build up over time with a view to putting a pukka weld in cage, seat rails, plate kit etc etc. Our current shell is ok but this car seems to good to pass up and we have kicked the idea about for some time regarding doing a 'proper' shell from scratch

So question is any recommendations on cage supplier and any do's and dont's when preparing a Nova from scratch ? we have the Grp A manual as a guide but any pictures build threads advice etc would be appreciated

Thanks in advance http://www.britishrally.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smiley20.gif

Safety devices cage a very good strong cage...and quite easy to fit and fit well.would also say seem weld everything ..the stiffer the better other than that shouldnt be to hard to do anything else

STITCH weld and stiffer the better is only true to a certain extent. you need to allow a certain amount of flex and movement to occur or the shell will start tearing itself to pieces
