is there any one that lives nere eltham that knows how to fit a red top to a c reg nova thanks dave:)
would be easier to drop your lump out get the welding done and bits then get someone over

yeah i can drop mine out its just fitting the red top and all that wiring.
well im sure someone could help with that but you would need to bash your chassis leg with a hammer for the altenator to clear or get it cut and boxed.
chassis strengthing plates are normally fitted aswell

chassis strengthing plates are normally fitted aswell cant you change the altenator pully to a thinner 1 so it fits so you dont have to hit or cut the leg???

Im not sure mate i think one way around it is mounting it at the front but you would have to Fabricate a bracket and mount for it

o rite just my engine has got a machined pully so it fits in wit no blue petering to get it in

im in croydonish area. re-doing mt conversion at the moment. wwhat is it yourreally stick with because its not all tht hard.

put my red top in on the bank holiday just gone i cut and made a rather nice box recess for the alternator to sit in how ever due to a rather school boy error i was about 3/4 of a inch to low and had to hammer the chassis leg any how :(
