How many rubber mounting bolts are needed to secure the pump assembly with the metal cradle to the chassis?

Just bought a metal guard/cradle and there are numerous rubber mounts on eBay, just need to know how many I need and if ones from other models will fit i.e. off an Astra, Cavalier etc.

Does this help?

I believe the rubber bobbins are the same on other models, No24 is the rubber bobbin.

Edit: Part number 90136269 shared with Astra, Calibra, Cavalier, Frontera, Carlton, Omega and Senator.

Yeah it does but according to that there is only 1 rubber mount.

I have a feeling there maybe three that's needed.

Sorry forgot to put the number on the edit above. EPC shows a quantity of 3 for the Nova.

Just what I was thinking as the cav has three and the cradle looks very very similar if not the same.

Cheers phazer +1

so you go to ATS or similar & ask the fitter for 3 mini exhaust 'bobbins' & 6 nuts(they are an odd thread), and for about 2 quid, you'll walk away happy, you will need to stretch the poxy split pin thing that is there to stop it falling onto the road if the rubbers break, but mine works 100%

2 secure the assy to the chassis. Theres only 2 threaded inserts in the rail.

The Astra & Cav pump cradles are different to a std Nova GTE one. I put an Astra GTE cradle on my GSi & it needed some filing & bending etc to fit on.

the base of the assy bolts solidly to the chassis, the rubbers mount from the base to the pump plate.

on my first injected car (x plate opel kadett with an e16se) i used exhaust clamps & mounted it soliddly to the boot floor...... i wouldn't advise this as the noise was awful

Cheers lads, looking at the EPC pics and the part I just bought the rubbers are on there but I'll ınvest in a set of 3 anyway seeing as they can be a pain to remove and change once they are fitted, only a few quid off the bay.

Don't wanna go down the ghetto route of cable ties incase they snap, rather be reassured that it's setup how it should be.

The split pin is there on the part I bought so all is well.
